Education
Currently, I am a math major at USD, hoping to teach math in the future and spread the appreciation for the study of numbers. This semester will be the end of my second year, however, I know I truly have many years left as I plan to continue my education much further.
Experience
Math is intimidating to many students, as it once was for me. What changed my mind was a teacher explaining a certain formula in a very specific way. This inspired me to believe that everyone can understand and appreciate math if they receive it in the correct way for them. Therefore, I enjoy tutoring because I like finding what works for different students and showing them the awesome things that math can be. I helped many friends through high school math, and tutored someone in college algebra over the summer. In the future I plan to be a math teacher in some form.

Hobbies
Aside from school I am a barista at a local coffee shop. I am also frequently seeking out different forms of movement such as yoga, hula hooping, acroyoga, and basically anything else! I like to travel during the summers, typically through driving. And I enjoy trying new things and finding new experiences!
